*sighs exasperatedly* This book sucked! I got to chapter three and really, really wanted to put it down and never pick it up again except to return it to the library. However, as I had suggested this as a buddy read, I kind of felt as though I would be the worst person in the world if I didn't actually finish it. So I did, and it hurt. What hurts most is the dissapointment as I was so excited for this book because it would be broadening my reading horizon because it is a LGBTQIA book, plus I love John Green. But no, it had to go and suck! *Sad Face*. I should probably stop saying how crummy it was and tell you what it was about... Will Grayson is a sad and rule-abiding add-on to his super gay best friend Tiny. He believes that saying and doing nothing is the best way to live life (his thoughts not mine). Will Grayson is a dark and moody nobody whose life is tormented by people who should love him but don't, and who he doesn't care about either (again, his words, not mine). Two different Will Grayson's who are brought together by a big guy named Tiny, who if I may add is one of the most self-absorbed characters of all time. Actually, nearly all of the characters in the book were super self-absorbed, except for Jane who was the only one who wasn't a jerk in this book. So yeah, nothing nice to say so I should probably just shut up... Rate: 2/10 Pages: 320 Format: Paperback Acquired from: Mobile Library |
