So perhaps I have bee living under a rock, well actually I do live in the shadow of a mountain so that is actually very accurate... But anyway, I hadn't heard of Grace before I received this book even though she has like a kajillion subscribers on Youtube and I, you know, do Youtube... This book is literally a guide to pretending to be a grown up. It features how-to sections on your professional, social, love and lifestyle life with features such as "How to make adult friends" and "How to cook like a kid for adults". While she never takes herself or anything in this book too seriously, a lot of what she says is actually very relevant and helpful, as well as you know, freaking hilarious! I thought it would take me a while to read this as I popped (yes, that's the word I'm going with) it in the toilet (because who doesn't like reading on the loo?) to read. Well obviously my visits there are too frequent as I read it in two weeks and am actually a little sad now... Dunny trips may never be the same! Rate: 8.5/10 Pages: 235 Format: Paperback Genre: Non-Fiction/Comedy Acquired from: Simon and Schuster Publishing |
*while I received this book in exchange for a review, all opinions are entirely and undoubtedly my own*
