Calm
I first fell in love with Calm when the app appeared in my "Suggested For You Apps". It is a meditation app, with a tonne of guided meditations on a range of themes and moods, as well as deeply relaxing tracks, and a meditation timer. I even paid the $50 yearly subscription fee because I needed to have everything. Possibly the best fifty bucks I ever spent!
And then one day as I was strolling casually through Townsville's CBD, I pulled my cousin into a bookstore and found the book version. I didn't buy it, and regretted it so much that the next day I went back and did. Calm is so beautiful. It is filled with beautiful words, beautiful pictures, and beautiful sentiment. Within its pages it holds guided meditations, tips, advice, recipes, activities such as colouring, mazes, journal prompts and more. It is broken into the topics of Sleep, Work, Nature, Food, Children and possibly more, but I can't remember. It is a book that you just want to keep on your bedside table so that you can read it again, and again, and again.
