Kisses from Katie
I finished this book on the 29th but unfortunately for assignments, I haven't had the time to blog about it, which is disappointing because it was truly a great book. So my friend (who I went to school with, but now lives in Sydney) came up to visit me for a few days and was telling me all about how she thought I would love this book. She had two copies, one with her in Sydney and one back in our home town. Fast forward a few days and I had it in my hand. Thanks Mum!
The book is a true story, written by Katie, an American girl ho moved to Uganda when she was eighteen. There she works in an orphanage teaching Kindergarten until she becomes a missionary and adopts a bunch of kids. The book follows her life up to the age of twenty three and illustrates the struggles and joys she faces. She is a Christian girl and quite a lot of the book emphasises this, but you can read this book without faith and still love it to pieces. I cried so much in this book also, but mostly they were happy, uplifting and smiley tears.

Recommended if: You'd like to better know the true way of Uganda and want to help
