Nightbird
This book was lovely. Just down right lovely. I read it in one go last night as it is a fairly simple read and it just called for me to finish it.
The story is told by twelve year old Twig who is used to being invisible in the small and yet well known town of Sidwell where the apples aren't the only things of legend. Twig is one of the only people in town who knows the truth about what the town's people refer to as the monster. But as families of the past reenter town, Twig realises that she may not be as alone as she once thought and that maybe, just maybe with a little help she may be able to solve a whole load of problems with one stone... Thoroughly light and enjoyable; this is definitely a book to read over and over again. Rate: 7/10 Pages: 208 Format: ARC Paperback Released: 5th March 2015 Acquired from: Simon and Schuster |
