Late last night (well not too late, it's me, let's be real) I was laying in bed, listening to the rain on the roof and writing this post in my head. As some of you may know, I have recently decided to move to England fro 1-2 years next year to teach. I have always been one of those people who feel the desire to plan their life at least a year in advance. I'm not sure why, but I have always, and most likely always will do this. Everyone tells me countless amounts of times that I don't need to worry about it "for at least 12 months" but I do. Don't get me wrong, being like this is extremely beneficial as I am always super organised and well prepared, but I often find myself wishing away my life, and living constantly in the future. |
That is where I am at the moment... ages away from my big adventure, but wanting to plan it, like right now! Anyway, I was chatting to a few ladies about it last night and one mentioned that they had just created a blog so they could document what is happening in their life and keep their friends and family up to date and it just kind of clicked for me. Why aren't I doing that?!
I mean, I already have this BookBlog which I adore, but why aren't I blogging about my life? I always had an idea for a blog called The Life of a Farmer's Daughter but meh, I decided just to attach an additional page to my already existing blog. So what will feature on this page you're wondering?! Well... just pretty much anything that I want to ramble and rave about. For the next however many months it'll just be life on the farm. But once I finish my degree, hopefully I'll be able to share how I am finding casual work (positive thinking brings positive outcomes) and then ENGLAND BABY and TRAVELING!
My life isn't hugely interesting, especially at the moment (wait, am I supposed to say that?!) so these posts will most likely be small and spread out, but I'll make sure to check in and keep you all updated.
Now you may be wondering (I'm such a mind reader) why I am rocking the red lip... Well my friends, it is part of the Kiss Goodbye to MS movement which sees women wearing red lipstick throughout May to raise awareness and funds for MS (Multiple Sclerosis). http://www.kissgoodbyetoms.org/
Stay Beautiful,
Jemma :) xo
