Honestly I'm not sure, but my want to read pile just seems to get larger and larger. A lot comes from browsing in book stores though probably (I cannot just walk past a book store, ask my friends and family, they hate taking me shopping). Also, from friends, family and the media I guess, with the occasional google search for books of a specific genre.
(2) How did you get into reading?
All of my three older siblings (who now can probably get diagnosed with dyslexia) struggled with reading and so my Mum started teaching me how to read from the moment I could talk it seems. She would print out words that we would go through and it just progressed until I was able to read before school. She used to be a huge reader as well and always encouraged me and I guess it just went from there. Reading has always been in my life it seems and is a part of me as much as my hazel eyes and ability to breathe. Sometimes my Mum wonders if she created a monster though, as she is constantly crying for me to 'get my nose out of that book!'
(3) How has your taste in books changed as you've gotten older?
I'm not sure it has a great deal really. I have always been into adventure and fantasy novels, and I just progress through the age levels. Recently though I have really been enjoying biographies, true stories and boring real life ones.
(4) How often do you buy books?
Well if you ask my mother who has had to give me her bookshelf as well as my own, too many. I would say that it is probably 2-4 a month though.
(5) How did you get into BookTubing?
I am not a booktuber, but rather a bookblogger. And I was reading my girlfriend magazine and it was talking about blogs and choosing topics that you are passionate about. For me of course, that is books. I didn't realise that there were already a lot of other bookbloggers out there though, and that discovery has made me very, very happy.
(6) How do you react when you don't like the end of a book?
It generally ends with me screaming. People in my household don't even blink an eye now as I just randomly shout and throw things and punch my pillow and cry. I also go and rant about it to who ever will listen... I guess I don't handle it that well huh?
(7) How often have you taken a sneaky look at the back page of a book to see if it's a happy ending?
No, I do not do this. The last page generally doesn't tell you anything anyway. I have read the last chapter of friends' books though who want to know. But I freak out when I am at the end of a chapter and 'accidentally' look to the bottom line and spoil it for myself.
(8) How many people are you going to tag, and who are they?
Everyone! Go for it!! :D
