His Holiness' cat, her official title, better know as HHC is back with a special mission from her non-whisked friend; to find the art of purring (the meaning of happiness). Overcome at first with the loss of her precious kittens, HHC wallows in her grief, while observing those around her. The main humans precious kitty helps are those at the Himalayan Book Cafe.
Gosh, I read this while I was tripping around Europe and it was so grounding for me to listen to and yet I'm finding this review a little difficult to write. Perhaps because of my time away. Plus I just don't know how to put into words how a very human cat learns, lives and loves, and teaches you to how to as well. I was quite emotional throughout the duration of HHC's narration, as I love cats, and my cat Brax in particular. But the day after I left Australia she died and I miss my kitty and all the joy she brought into my world. So I had many mixed emotions and was even more deeply touched by how this beautiful feline creature was able to grow and help me to as well. How very blessed I am to have learned to love so deeply from two very precious cats.
