I have two copies of this novel; one I won and the other I received to review. This fabulous piece of art (see what I did there?) is told from four different POVs; Guy (the guy), Rafi (the girl), Luke (the artist) and Penny (his ex). It shows the way their lives interrelate after the infamous Weeping Woman portrait is stolen off the walls of the Melbourne Art Gallery. It was such an honest and real story that I absolutely adored. The characters were immensely developed and you couldn't helping feeling as if you knew them in real life. I was a tad frustrated with the ending, but all up, I found this book to be a wonderful Australian read!

Hey everyone!
I hope you are all enjoying your Tuesday. :) I have just recently became a BookDepository.com affiliate. It is something that I have been thinking about for a while, but I struggled deciding which online bookstore I should affiliate with. In the end I decided to go with Book Depository because not only is it super cheap and have free shipping world-wide, but it also one of the best known and best regarded online bookstores. So how does it work? Pretty much I just have an affiliate link (which can be seen on the left side below my social media icons) which will send you directly to Book Depository where you can purchase whichever book you would like to buy. I then recieve a small percentage of the sale (which doesn't cost you a cent more) and voila, that's it! Also, from now on I will attach my affiliate link to the picture next to the reviews I do so that you are directed straight to the book I have been talking about. If you have any questions please feel free to leave a comment or email me. Stay sweet, Jemma xo |
