As it happens, and generally does, I really liked the book! Harry, born Harritia moved to Australia with his family as a child. His mother always taught him to believe in himself, which is what he says allowed him and gave him the courage to pursue his dreams. The book is broken into four pillars, and in each he shares personal stories, teachings and facts about how we can be more mindful. It's Cool to be Conscious does an excellent job of outlining how we can be more mindful in everyday life and why it is so essential to be. I truly learnt a range of skills, and I'm even trying one out today; live as though today was your last. Harry also goes a lot into the importance of trying new things and stepping out of the familiar. Ironically, that is exactly what I had to do in order to give myself the chance to read and learn from his book.
