Walking Disaster is the exact same story, only told from Travis' POV. I'd heard from people that this book was better because it explained what was behind Travis' emotional outbursts and helped to understand why he is the way he is. And I agree, not about it being better though... Travis really pissed me off at the start of the book. I was able to understand why he treated women like dirt, and honestly, his reasoning sucked. He truly believed that there was a difference between women and sluts, and you had to treat them accordingly. I'm sorry, but no. We had just learned how he was all messed up from his past, and yet he doesn't even stop for a second to think that maybe the women he is a complete pig towards might be troubled and broken too. Then he meets Abby, but instead of realising that maybe his attitude sucks and that he should value all women more, he just becomes the most whipped dude ever, and he still treats Abby like shit. He is an arse-hole, no doubt about it, and you are probably thinking, wow, she must have hated this book... I actually didn't. Just like BD, I knew how ridiculous the plot was, but it was a nice escape from reality, that had drama, drama and a little more drama, which is something I despise in my life, but often crave in books. But overall, I definitely enjoyed reading it the first time much more, and from Abby's POV.
